It's an unusually warm day in new england today. That, combined with summer plans I've been making recently, is making me a little anxious. I just want to be doing ^that, and looking as cool as she does while doing it.
It's amazing how outdated fashion magazines look after a few years. I kept most of my fashion magazines growing up, but browsing old Elle, Bazaar, etc., I rarely find anything that doesn't look dated. Still, I'm feeling these eds from a 2002 issue of Jane, especially the first one. Just swap that Dior graphic tee with a white v-neck and those "D" bangles for something less logo-y and more modern... but those boots, skirt, belt, that messy hair!
You all read the sartorialist so I generally refrain from posting his pictures, but I came across this shot on my computer and couldn't help myself. I'm not sure about those boots, but that's a L.A.M.B jacket I always regret not buying, and this girl pulls it off better than I ever could.
I'm in love with Humanoid, a line that I won't be able to afford anytime soon. In the mean time I'll just admire the neutral colors and drapey silhouettes.
